Learning to Skateboard

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

You’ve Got Questions—I’ve Got Answers

WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?

You will need a skate helmet - no helmet, no skate!

Knee & elbow protection is also important whether beginner or more advanced. I can help with purchase of these if you don't know what to buy.

IS THERE A MINIMUM OR MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT?

You can be any age to skate. To skate a large ramp it is advisable that you have some basic state knowledge on smaller ramps. A mini- ramp is a great place to start. I can advise you on the basic skate moves to practise to work your way up to a larger ramp.

WHAT HAPPENS WITH MY LESSON IF ITS RAINING / BAD WEATHER?

The weather is unpredictable as as the facility is outdoors, I will contact you if the weather is not suitable for training. We can rearrange the lesson for an alternative day.

HOW DO I BOOK A LESSON?

Check out the prices on my 'book now' page. Lessons range from individual private 1 Hour lesson to group lessons (generally maximum 4 people). You can book just one or a pack of lessons. The more you book the cheaper they get!  If you prefer to contact me first then fill out the contact me section and I can contact you to discuss the options that may suit you best.
